Windows UpdateBefore you begin, please make sure that you have the latest Windows updates installed form http://WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.Com. If you are using Windows Vista or Windows 7, use Windows Update from the [Start] Menu. Program RequirementsThe programs require Microsoft's .Net 3.5 framework. If your computer is missing .Net 3.5 or any other system dependencies, they will be installed with the IRA Tools program. You can also just do a update from the Microsoft website at http://WindowsUpdate.Microsoft.Com or in Windows 7 and Vista by using the normal system updates and looking for updates related to the .Net 3.5 framework. IRA Tools DownloadA special note to VISTA/Windows 7 Users. If you try to download and install, you may get the message "This product requires at least User Account Control Elevation". If you receive this message, download the program and save it to your computer - make sure that you remember where you put the downloaded program.. After the download completes, use Windows Explorer to find the download, right click on the program file and select the Run as Administrator option. IRA ToolsTo run the IRA Tools program using the desktop icon, "Right Click" on the IRA Tools desktop icon, select "Properties". From the "Shortcut" tab, click on Advanced. Click on the "Run as administrator" check box, add the check mark [x] and click on OK. Exit the icon setup screen and double click on the icon. In the future, you will run as an administrator each time you click on the desktop icon. Convert Existing Data FilesTo move your old files to the new program, look for "IraTools" in the start menu and select "File Conversion Utility". If the programs were initially installed using default installation, no changes should be required. Click on the first [Browse] button and then click on yyyZ.Mdb. Then click on the second [Browse] button and select IraTools.sdf. To complete the transfer, press the [Convert Data] button. If you did not use the default values, you must use the browse button and find the yyyZ.Mdb and/or IraTools.sdf data file(s).
